  Important Information

  I feel I should comment on the nature of this character and of my no consent rule. I, as the player, have no intention of breaching any levels of comfort with roleplay, and have no desire to kill off a character unless it's something agreed upon with both parties and is relevant to a plot. Taking into account that this is a highly violent character with an extremely sadistic nature, there will likely be some actions taken against your character. I play with as much realism as I'm capable, and try to the best of my ability to play him with natural response and reasonable action. He is not out to take a knife to everyone (as much as he would adore doing so)-- Welles would need to be provoked. A character that challenges him, seems willing, or would make for an ideal target will be those that are most likely to meet his darker side. I don't 'powerplay' or 'godmod', and so there will be windows of opportunity for the other character to do damage to him as well or avoid any advance. I am fine with dismemberment, permanent alteration, maiming... whatever. Death is negotiable, as explained above. In addition, I have no interest in playing with characters that are godmodded or powerplayed.
  
  I play in a mature setting, with mature content and can get descriptive at the worst of parts. I'm not sensitive to those things, alone, and I expect that you (as the, assumedly, interested player) will anticipate that. Please let me know if it's too much, or if it's something you are uncomfortable with. One huge issue needs to be addressed: there is a very large difference between sexual sadism and sadism. Naturally, there are crossovers and some blending depending on the circumstance, but Welles is not primarily sexual in nature-- he likes the pain, the reaction, and the idea of curruption. For myself, I don't like an overwhelming amount of blatant sexual content. I'm not playing him for the sexual aspect of sadism. It is not ruled by sexual desire-- it is a personality disorder. I'm comfortable with a fade-to-black for any circumstance, but I would prefer not to do it if there is dialogue that is imperative to the development of the relationship or action that is likewise as such.
